UNO–UNMCpartnership

This partnership among NARI, UNO, and UNMC examined patching for life-critical hospital technology such as MRI systems, life-support equipment, and radiation-producing scanners. These long-lived devices can be high-value malware targets but do not always undergo rigorous upgrade processes after installation.

Robin Gandhi and I contributed UNO’s certification and assessment expertise to understand current patching practice and identify ways to improve national protection of clinical systems.
